Self Identification in an Age of Globalization

Globalization means a connection of ideas, culture, and people. The traditional communities-- similar background and cultures, has changed along with the composition of these communities themselves. At the same time, this also means that different cultures are being joined in the same person. The fusion of different ideas makes conversations important. The conversation here includes those between people with different backgrounds and self conversation to understand the heterogeneousness joined in oneself. I would like to discuss this revelation in more detail in the workshop, explore how globalization has impacted our identities and how people could better understand their identity under globalization.
